IMovie Public Service Announcement (PSA) Project 2016

ACADEMIC/LEARNING OBJECTIVE Scholars will be able to use IMOVIE to create a short (30-60 second) Movie Public Service Announcement.  Scholars will be able to select photos and video clips, choose music, and create a PSA about a topic that is important to them.  They will work with a partner to create the PSA. Introduction to IMOVIE

ACADEMIC/LEARNING OBJECTIVE Scholars will be able to use IMOVIE to create a short (10-15 second) Movie Marquis (Logo).  Scholars will be given an introduction to IMovie today.  Before we start with IMovie, you will watch a short video about Movie Studio Logo’s.  Please complete the Google Classroom Assignment. ACADEMIC/LEARNING OBJECTIVE Scholars use a link provided on the class website to begin learning about how video games are created.  Each scholar will work on their own to work through the storyline and levels of the game-making process.  Scholars will be required to use Peer Mentoring to help each other through difficult levels prior to instructor intervention. Welcome To GarageBand! If you did not bring headphones today, you cannot complete today's assignment.  You must work on the MUSIC LYRICS Assignment at the bottom of this post! ACADEMIC/LEARNING OBJECTIVE Today scholars will create an account on Khan Academy so they can work from home, invite other teachers to help coach them, and generally allow them to learn about many different classes on their own.  This is an introduction to Blended Learning, and starting them on the path to become life-long learners.  They can access many different classes and RTI Math and ELA programs.  There is also content available in the arts, science, social studies, and many other topics.  Scholars will be able to log in and work on various programs independently.   SCHOLARS WILL ENTER THE CLASS QUIETLY AND BEGIN WORKING!
